Euro 2016, the sporting event not to be missed in France
Third largest international sports competition, the UEFA European Championship for Men Football (Euro 2016) is taking place in France this summer for its fifteenth edition.
From June 10th to July 10th, the Euro 2016 brings together the best men’s teams of European football in the beautiful stadiums of 10 french cities such as Paris, the main city, (Parc des Princes), Saint-Denis (Stade de France), Lille (Stade Pierre Mauroy), Bordeaux (Stade Matmut Atlantic), Lens (Stade Felix Bollaert-Delelis), Saint-Etienne (Stade Geoffroy-Guichard), Lyon (Parc Olympique Lyonnais), Toulouse (Toulouse Stadium), Marseille (Stade Velodrome) and Nice (Stade Allianz Riviera ).
During this event, the entire country of France is celebrating and the host cities offer an associated cultural program full of entertainments!

In Lyon: A game already took place on June 13th: The other 3 games scheduled will be held on June 16th, June 19th and June 22nd. An eighth finals will then be played on June 26th and the semi-final on July 6th.
In Nice: The next 3 games of the Riviera Stadium will take place on June 17 and June 22 An eighth finals will then take place on June 27th.
If you pass by Saint-Denis (located in the surroundings of Paris), keep in mind that the “royal city” will also host seven matches in the Stade de France.
Participating teams during the Euro 2016:
Since the kickoff launched on 10 June, 24 European teams are competing, trying to win the cup, with for now France at the top of the list, followed by Switzerland and Romania.
This year, five new countries are part of the competition: Albania, Iceland, Slovakia, northern Ireland and Wales, but three countries are missing: Greece (European champion in 2004), Denmark (European champion in 1992) and the Netherlands (champions in 1988).
This European championship will also determine what will be the European representative at the 2017 confederations Cup to be held in Russia.
