To start with, we’ll drive to an authentic Provençal open market where you’ll discover the gastronomic treasures of the region: wines, fruits, vegetables, cheeses, breads, pastries, and other Provençal dishes and delicacies.
After choosing the food you’d like for the picnic, we’ll be on our way to a beautiful spot for lunch. All the accouterments will be provided: table, chairs, napkins etc.

A wine tasting at a Provencal vineyard can be arranged if desired.
Market days and towns for picnic food take place in:
– Cavaillon on Mondays and Aix-en-Provence on Tuesdays.
– Saint-Remy de Provence and Arles on Wednesdays and Villeneuve-Les-Avignon on Thursdays.
– Lourmarin on Fridays and Pernes-les- Fontaines or Apt on Saturdays
– Finally, L’Isle-sur- la-Sorgues on Sundays.
If you’d like, we can play a game of pétanque, the most popular pastime in Provence. Depending on the location of the marketplace, we will provide a circuit of must-see places: for example an ancient monument, a hilltop village, lavender fields or a seaside drive.
The delightful Provençal dishes will blow your mind and leave you addicted to the region of Provence!

Since my arrival on the French Riviera, I specialized in tourism by offering tours combining wine, gastronomy and history, especially from Marseille, Aix en Provence and Cassis. I love to share my knowledge with people, being outside and exploring sites full of culture and history. I also sometimes offer mini wine courses and cooking courses in order to teach curious visitors how to combine wine and food. During my private tours, discover the culinary delights of the South of France between tapas, pastries and olive oil, as well as the most scenic places from Cassis to Arles via Les Baux de Provence.
