Born and brought up in Paris, I studied history and was destined to become a teacher, as I like working with people. However, I also wanted more freedom and flexibility. So, in 2009, I started giving tours as a volunteer and completed by professional guiding qualification the following year. I love this job as I’m always surrounded by people, I get to share my passion for history, and I create personal relationship during small private tours. My favorite themes? History (ex. Monuments like the Basilica of Saint-Denis, Saint Chapelle and Les Invalides), le Marais (Medieval architecture, aristocratic history) and the Louvre. As well as history, I’m also passionate about fashion, travelling and psychology.

We had a wonderful visit to the Orsay Museum guided by Caroline. She is not only extremely knowledgeable but also very organized and knows the museum like the back of her hand. Her stories of the artists and their works are engaging and relevant. Her tour was organized chronologically so that the works and art movements built one upon the other each other, giving us a clear understanding. My husband said he learned more in this one afternoon with Caroline than he learned in an entire art history course. I cannot give enough praise and recommendation. Do not hesitate to take a tour with Caroline. You won’t be disappointed.
