PLEASE NOTE: This tour is available every day of the week except on Sundays.

Through this unique 3hr tour, you will visit the Vatican museums. You will admire the different galleries (Candelabra Gallery, Maps Gallery, Tapestries Gallery). Then, you will go to the world famous Sistine Chapel to marvel at its ceiling decorated with beautiful frescos and see the world famous The Last Judgment by Michelangelo. Afterwards, you will visit Saint Peter's Basilica, one of the most renowned work of Renaissance architecture and one of the largest churches in the world. During your tour, your guide will tell you the history of art, roman and greek art. By the end of the tour, you will have the possibility to enjoy an optional delicious lunch with roman specialities in a local italian restaurant recommended by your guide.

Born and raised in Rome, I have been working in the tourism industry for 11 years now, first leading tours throughout Italy and later qualifying for my license as an official guide for Rome, the surrounding province and Vatican City. Before being a tour guide, I already knew a bit about Rome art and history, but when some of my foreign friends were coming to Rome, I was unable to explain them the whole history of my own city. I felt ashamed and decided to improve it, so I started to follow special courses which led me to the wonderful job of being a tour guide. I enjoy sharing my love for my beautiful city with my guests. My job allows me to meet people from all over the world, and many of them are special. Second, among the special persons I guided Jimmy Fallon, the American Comedian, and I did not know how he was ! My specialty is the archeological area of Rome and all the main sights (Coliseum, the Roman Forum...) but also Rome’s underground (ancient roman city) with its catacombs, crypts, and churches. I love it because it shows the past of the city and let us see the connections between the ancient city and the modern one.

It was an amazing 3 hours of history and information about the Vatican. It was my 3rd visit and yet we all learned so much more than any previous visits.Tiziana was a wonderful guide and let us ask many questions and proceed at our own pace. I would highly recommend her.

Tiziana was a fantastic guide. She took us through the Vatican on an incredible tour. She knows every little detail & builds a story along the way that brings on overwhelming history to life. She tailored our tour for what drew our interests - very flexible. We learned more from Tiziana on our tour than we would have picked up with weeks of study on our own. My only regret is that I did not book her for more days in Roma. Very, very highly recommend!

Tiziana was amazing! Her knowledge of the history of the Vatican and Rome was excellent! Without her we could not have gained as much insight as to what we were seeing if we'd spent a week there. I would highly recommend her as your tour guide! You will gain so much more information and avoid all the lines and confusion on where to go.

Tiziana is a magnificent guide! Her passion for what she talks about is contagious. She gives the Vatican (& I suspect everyplace) a vibrant life, excitement. She nurtured your curiosity, notices what most intrigues you & nurtures that line of thought. She is brilliant in her knowledge & understanding of Rome, thru all it's millennia of history. She encapsulates & makes it come alive. One of the absolute best guides I've ever met - out of dozens & dozens all over the world. She is right there with you, keeps track of you no matter how you stray, for this photo or that closer look. Can negotiate difficult arrangements, even last minute. Has excellent advice for other local travel plans. Thank you, Tiziana. I hope to always see the Vatican they your eyes.
