Spiritual, historical, delicious, the beautiful city of Rome is one of those magical places that transform us forever. Accompanied by a professional guide, discover its most beautiful sites during a complete walking tour. In the morning you will visit the ruins of ancient Rome such as the Roman Forum, the main square of ancient Rome which constituted the place around which all the political and religious life of the city was once articulated: celebration of weddings, organizing games, gladiator fights, ceremonies and religious festivals. You will also visit the House of the Vestal Virgins, sisters of the goddess Vesta, which formed with the Temple of Vesta, a unique complex named Vestae atrium. Your tour will continue with the visit of the Palatine Hill, one of the seven hills of the capital, occupying a central position in ancient Rome and overlooking the Roman Forum to the north and the Circus Maximus to the south. Under the Empire, the Palatine was full of large houses built for emperors, which gave birth to the word "Palace". Then you will visit the Arch of Constantine located between the Colosseum and the Palatine. Afterwards, you will enjoy a guided visit in the famous Colosseum, just before enjoying a delicious lunch in one of the numerous local restaurants offering the best of the Italian gastronomy. After lunch you will continue your visit to newer buildings, such as the Pantheon, Castel Sant'Angelo and St. Peter's Square.

ITINERARY
Starting from the majestic site of the Colosseum, you will join your guide and begin your visit to the remains of ancient Rome. You will discover the Forum with its Triumphal arches, its basilicas and House of the Vestal Virgins. Then you will visit the Palatine Hill, the Arch of Constantine and Colosseum. At lunchtime, sit in a small local restaurant to taste the delicious Roman specialties. After lunch you will continue your visit to newer buildings, such as the Pantheon, Castel Sant'Angelo and St. Peter's Square.

Born in the picturesque city of Florence who influenced my passion for art, I moved later to Rome where I completed a PHD in the Academy of Fine Arts. After working as an event planner for 13 years, I decided to create an association which offers customized cultural trails in Roma combining history, art and craft activities mixing the ancient materials such as pigments and natural elements as legendary artists Michelangelo, Giotto or Raphael used to do. The ancient art is really at the center of my tours and I aim at seeing the Eternal City’s history reviving through the creation of a fresco made by a visitor. Today, my eight years of experience in walking tours, family tours and painting workshop enables me to share the best of my expertise and my passion for Rome’s history with curious visitors in an entertaining narrative experience. During my tours, I let the visitor being also an actor and enter in relation with the city of Roma and its past, culture and energy. With my team of archaeologists, restorers, art historians and tourist guides, I organize for you a trip back in time. Discover the main historical sites of Rome such as the St. Peter's Basilica, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum and join a mosaic workshop; learn how to create your own fresco on the Piazza Navona using ancient techniques; visit World Unesco heritage sites such as Banditaccia and uncover the secret stories of the ancient civilization while tasting the traditional roman gastronomy. PS : my tours could also be guided by Paola or Lisa, especially when they have to be done in English.
