ITINERARY

Your tour will begin in the heart of Milan at the Piazza del Duomo. Accompanied by a private professional guide, you’ll then explore the Duomo and climb up for spectacular views from the rooftop terraces. To finish, you’ll enjoy a gastronomic dinner of authentic Italian flavors at a reputed local restaurant (optional). Kindly note that the Duomo may occasionally close the terraces if there are too many visitors or for other reasons. In such an event this will be replaced with a visit of the rooftops of the Victor Emmanuel Shopping Arcade.

I went to Florence as part of my French and Italian degree, where I met Milanese husband and I moved to Milan straight after my studies. I decided to become a professional tour guide because of my passion for art and history. I love showing people around Milan and sharing the Da Vinci’s Last Supper, the Duomo Cathedral, Portinari Chapel (hidden gem) and the canals, as well as the restaurants and nightlife. The ultimate job satisfaction? When people enjoy themselves and discover the “real” Milan beyond the sometimes austere, elegant facade. When I’m not giving tours, I like swimming, socializing, people watching, clothes and fashion. I’m also a big fan of films and TV series especially Sex & the City!

Deborah was a wonderful and very knowledgeable guide, bringing her attention to details to everything. Her communication and people skills are excellent, and she has some very creative ways in helping children learn about history! (We brought our 8 year old daughter & 13 year old son along for the tour!) She was able to tell us the history of even the smallest thing in full details. Deborah is not only very experienced, but also a very perceptive tour guide. I highly recommend her!
