Experience the beautiful Provence countryside and its treasures on this full private day tour from Marseille. With your chauffeur guide, you will enjoy an hour-long journey across the flowering lavender fields, heading to the picturesque village of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence where the famous French physician and seer Nostradamus was born. There, you will discover many painters, ceramists and sculptors workshops lined up in the cobbled streets. Your tour will continue in Les Baux-de-Provence, a charming medieval village known as one of the most beautiful places in France. There, you will be able to visit the Psychiatric hospital where Van Gogh stayed and created some of his greatest masterpieces ; you will also be able to attend the Carrières light show highlighting some famous 20th century paintings. At lunchtime, you guide will give you plentiful restaurant options to discover the delicious Provencal gastronomy. Afterwards, you will head to a local PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) olive oil producer where you will meet with the owners, learn about the olive oil making process, and enjoy some tastings. ITINERARY
Leave Marseille behind and experience the charming Provencal countryside with an experienced guide. Travelling in a comfortable Minivan Mercedes, you will head to the village of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. On your way, marvel at the stunning scenery with its numerous lavender fields. Once in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, enjoy a guided stroll and discover the local arts and crafts workshops. Your day will continue in the medieval village of Les Baux-de-Provence where you will be able to visit the mental health hospital where Van Gogh stayed from 1889 to 1890. After a tasty lunch is one of the many restaurants nearby, you will visit an Olive Oil producer before returning to your hotel with your guide.

Originally from Lyon, I fell in love with Marseille (and with a Marseillaise who shares my life today) during a trip at the beginning of my studies; an important period for me as many things shifted unexpectedly: while I was studying medicine at the university, a serious motorcycle accident forced me to stay in the hospital for two years. During this time, I studied foreign languages (including Chinese) and I decided to change career to focus on my passion for travel. After travelling the world, I discovered that the greatest pleasures were usually the simplest. As a tour guide, I wanted to share this sense of pleasure with visitors coming to discover Marseille. After several experiences in local agencies, I decided to create my own company specializing in tailor-made tours. Today I guide in French and English in the beautiful city of Marseille and its surroundings. Provence is a wonderful area full of natural, cultural and historical treasures. Also passionate about gastronomy and oenology, I like to implement these themes in my tours. At my side, discover the best of Marseille with the eyes of a local; or indulge with olive oil and rosé tastings in Provence while crossing the lavender fields. A personal detail: during my spare time, I am a volunteer gardener in fruits and vegetables community gardens.
