As you stroll through the winding streets, leafy boulevards and along the port, you’ll have plenty of time to take in the city’s top historic and artistic attractions with your experienced local guide. Visit Alfama, the city’s oldest district steeped in Moorish influences, marvel at historical landmarks such as São Jorge Castle and Lisbon Cathedral and experience 15th century Lisbon at the Belem and its Jerónimos Monastery, Belem Tower and Discoveries Monument. You’ll also be taken off the tourist track through some of Lisbon’s most typical neighborhoods to get a feel of what life is like for a Alfacinhas (Lisbon natives).

On 28 March 2022 my wife Joan and I had the pleasure of joining Joao for a private tour of Lisbon. We had a wonderful and very enlightening tour of lisbon and will recommend him to all of our friends who visit Portugal. Joao- personalble , knowledegeable, gracious and a credit to the Portugal tour industry. We will be returning to Portugal in Oct 2022 and our hoping we will be able to have Joao be our private tour guide for an itenerary that we will discuss and solicit Joao ideas. Again we are very thankful we were able to spend that wonderful day with Joao.

What a great tour. We had rod who was a great representative of this wonderful city. Filling our day with the history and highlights of the oldest city. His sense of humour only added to the great commentary. 10/10. Would recommend
