Built across seven hills, Lisbon has a unique irregular urban cityscape made of colorful little streets going up and down. On this exclusive private walking tour, you will follow your guide through these iconic hills, taking the long stairways, enjoying rides on the historical tramway, and walking up and down the different districts such as the Chiado, Alfama, Bairro Alto. You will discover some unseen parts of the capital with its bohemian cafes, Fado taverns, botanical gardens and little boutiques, but also some iconic landmarks such as the São Jorge Castle, the Lisbon Cathedral and more. Born in Sydney from Portuguese parents, I came back to Portugal twelve years later with my family. After completing my degree in Tourism at the University of Lisbon, I started to work as a guide in the double Decker buses before becoming a freelance guide in a local tourism agency. Soon after, I decided to create my own guiding business because I wanted to plan "non-touristic tours" and show Portugal as locals see it. Living in Sintra, I love to organize guided tours there, as well as in Lisbon and its surroundings. Meeting with people from all across the world and sharing with them my beautiful country is one of the best parts of my job. When I am not guiding, I enjoy taking photographs, but also reading.
