Gaudi Half Day tour
Discover the most famous works of Gaudi in Barcelona
- WITH
- Gregorio | about the guide
Born near Barcelona in 1852, Gaudi decorated his city using his graphic and whimsical imagination. Dreamer inclined to ”avant-gardism”, he is inspired by mythology and nature to develop its work, but also by the society itself. Like Gaudi’s mosaic artworks, Barcelona is a city with many facets drawing symbiosis of a double Catalan and Spanish culture. On this tour, you will discover Gaudi's talent and Unesco World Heritage artworks. Led by a professional local guide, you will stroll in Barcelona center going first towards the iconic Sagrada Familia Cathedral, an impressive monument decorated with innumerable details, and remaining one of Gaudi's most impressive works, although it is still not completed more than 100 years after the beginning of its construction. You will continue to the Park Güell, an enchanted place with its emblematic fairy garden, its giant salamander, at the entrance and its multicolored balcony. Then, you will head in the famous Passeig de Gracia where you will discover the beautiful Casa Mila with its architectural forms borrowed from nature and colorful undulations.

Born in a small village in the middle of Spain, but raised in Barcelona, I have always been passionate about my beautiful city and its unique character; that's why I decided to go back to school to become an official tour guide after several years working for the Spanish administration in a boring office. As a tour guide, what I enjoy the most is meeting new people and creating links between people; because what makes the beauty and the interest of a city are the people; the ones who live there but also the ones who come and visit, who see the different aspects with their own eyes and always showing me a new way to see it. My specialty is to give visitors a real feeling and experience of how people live, think and act in this part of the world. I also enjoy sharing what Barcelona and Catalonia have to offer, so I always try to integrate and connect everything: what to see, to admire, the details, the history behind, the secret paths ect… Even though I have a complete knowledge of Barcelona and its different points of interests, one of my favorite theme is the architecture, which is a huge part of the city's culture.

Gregario was a wonderful tour guide! He was extremely knowledgeable in showing us Sagrada Familia and Park Güell. We enjoyed the pace of the tour and it was so much nicer than listening to an audio tour. Let Gregorio be your guide if you are planning a trip to Barcelona!

This tour was worth every penny!!! It was so nice having Gregorio and his wealth of knowledge at our disposal so that we could ask all the questions we wanted. He was extremely patient with us as we stopped to take pictures and truly made seeing these landmarks more memorable. I know we enjoyed it more because of the information Gregorio shared with us. Additionally, getting to skip all of the lines saved hassle and time which was very much appreciated. I really can't recommend this tour or Gregorio enough!

Our morning with Gregorio was one of the best splurges! His knowledge of Gaudi and his city were unparalleled. He seemed to know what we were wanting and when I started getting tired, he slowed the pace. Thank you,Gregorio, for making our visit to your city the most memorable time.
