ITINERARY

This 8-hour guided tour will cover all the key monuments of the Acropolis - Temple of Athena Nike, Gateway of the Propylaea, Porch of the Caryatids at the Erechtheion, Theater of Dionysus, Temple of Asclepius and Odeon of Herodes Atticus - as well as the Acropolis Museum. In the afternoon, you’ll explore the center of Athens (historic Monastiraki and Plaka neighbors) and visit the Ancient Agora. “I cannot say enough positive things about our amazing tour guide!! She (Kosta’s colleague) met us this morning at our hotel in Plaka where we began the Acropolis and Acropolis museum tour. So knowledgable (and in her own words 'a nerd!') about Greece and it's fascinating history. Her obvious enthusiasm for the material and the way she related it to us was perfect. She was able to engage my husband (who is also a self described history 'nerd') yet keep my interest as well. She even engaged us in role playing to better understand. Not merely a guide but a teacher as well! 5She looked out for our every need.
