Ingrid, private and professional local guide in London
Anglais/English, Français/French
I initially trained to be an actress at the Drama Studio, London, an invaluable background for a Blue Badge guide, enabling me to hold the attention of both large and intimate audiences. I have a 1st class Honours degree (University of London) and a Diploma in Art History and am particularly interested in art, architecture and cultural history. For many years I guided the British Museum's own public and private tours, a museum where I offer many specialist tours. I have worked full time as an independent guide for more than 20 years, constantly updating my tours. Amongst my clients are a U.S. Vice President, ambassadors, a Hollywood actress, art societies, top professionals, students, and many wonderfully curious visitors! I take great pride in offering professional, sensitive and entertaining tours - always tailor-made to the client - hoping to add enjoyment and enlightenment at the same time. People say I am dynamic and have a very good British sense of humor...! more

Anglais/English, Italien/Italian, JapaneseJaponais/Japanese
I am Italian and I have been living in London for many years. Before moving to England I spent a few years in Japan where I gained important professional and cultural experiences. After moving to London, I quickly set out exploring the many galleries, museums and neighborhoods. I fell in love with the city - there are so many hidden gems at every twist and turn that I want to share this with you! I’ve since qualified as a Blue Badge Guide in English, Spanish and Italian. Using my teaching experience in Japan and my experience creating educational toys in Italy, I will try to make learning as fun as possible. My mission is to show you the major monuments and hidden secrets of London, from the British Museum to the Tower of London, National Gallery, typical pubs, the East End, Hampton Court and much more. My passions? Art, reading, and languages. more

Shopping, Friends & Family Tours, Markets
Born and raised in the beautiful city of London, I graduated from the University of Manchester in Literature and Linguistics. During my studies, I had my first work experience with a newspaper and I quickly realised that office work was not challenging enough for me. Instead, I decided to focus on what I was obsessed with, namely, food! I also worked as a chef and I loved the experience but I was not organised enough to make it a full-time job so I decided to become a foodie guide. After graduating from university, I got a summer job as a tour guide on the London open tour buses. It was a lot of fun and I learned so much - I felt like I learned even more than I did during all those years at university. I created my own business and started to work with some other guides who could replace me when I was not available. As of today, I have been a tour guide for 6 years and I really enjoy it. My favorite topic is gastronomy and my favorite spot in London is Borough Market. A random fact: on the side, I am also a comedian. more

Mayfair Chocolate, Chelsea Chocolate, Covent Garden, Notting Hill
I absolutely love food and chocolate has been an obsession since my childhood in the Australian countryside when sneaked Cadbury’s Dairy Milk from the cupboard and started to experiment in the kitchen. After travelling the world in search of incredible food experiences, I settled in the culinary melting pot of London, which I explored enthusiastically. Combining my two passions, I decided to fulfil my dream of setting up a business to show people around London and provide insight into chocolate. 9 years later, I still love meeting new people and introducing them to incredible chocolate. As well as running my chocolate tours, I am currently consulting for various businesses on cost analysis, strategy, taste analysis and recipe development. I also write and speak about chocolate, desserts and food for different events and publications, and am hatching plenty of plans for the future. I was privileged enough to be on the Grand Jury of the International Chocolate Awards, Academy of Chocolate Awards and Great Taste Awards. If you have a sweet tooth, a curious mind and want to find out more about chocolate and amazing city of London, these are the tours for you! more

Pirates stories, O2 arena tour, London markets, highlights, tradition and modernity
In love with London, I moved there several years ago and completed the Blue Badge guide course which entitles me today to guide visitors through many different places and sites in London and its surroundings, including their historical and cultural facts. I have always been interested in tourism: as a little girl sitting at my desk at home, with an atlas and other various guide books around me, I tried to sell tours to family members. Then, as a teenager I found the perfect summer job as a tour guide in one of the many castles in the Czech Republic. My relationship with that castle lasted over ten years. To pick a course at University was a piece of cake, anything tourism related. After three years, I was the proud holder of a Management in Tourism degree and a National Tour Guiding certificate for the Czech Republic. Throughout my studies I have detoured a little bit, spending some years abroad working as a Flight Attendant for easyJet: still in tourism but just a different sector... I am now packed with knowledge and experience and it will be my pleasure to take you on one of my tours to show you the wonderful city of London more

Private family tours in Paris, London, Rome, Florence, Val de Loire
Espagnol/Spanish, Français/French, Anglais/English
After my business studies at HEC interspersed with abroad experiences in the luxury and fashion sector, I worked for 4 years in a consulting firm before launching my dream concept: high-end tourism for families, following a request customers had, looking for activities to do in Paris with their children. By creating my own company, I could serve all my passions at once: cooking, culture and my adopted city of Paris, whose secrets I all know. London was also part of the adventure because it is one of my host cities. Having the attention for detail and quality, I offer tailor-made tours in various European destinations such as of Paris, Loire Valley, and London, Rome and Florence for families wishing to explore these places with their children in an original way and without having to worry about logistics. With my small team of passionate professionals, we developed themed itineraries in the best places, adding for each of them some high-quality activities suitable for children of all ages and interests. Visit the Louvre Museum during a treasure hunt followed by a painting course, relapse in the novel and film The Da Vinci Code with an orientation game, discover French tradition while making the iconic baguette, visit the artistic village of Montmartre while learning french, explore Rome and learn about its history through specially-designed stories, quizzes and games or discover the life of Galileo the famous astronomer and his inventions through a visit to his museum. These are few examples of our organized family tours which allow parents to spend quality time with their children. more
