Like my family for many generations, I was born and raised in Venice. After studying languages and literature at university, including a year in the USA, and working on several cultural preservation projects, I qualified as a professional tour guide in 1999. During my private tours, you’ll share in my passion for my city, its history and art treasures. The customized walking tours will take you through the different “sestieri” of Venice, so that you can see the city through different eyes. You’ll discover local craftsmanship, Renaissance art, cosmopolitan identity and much more as you explore Venice and Venetian Lagoon including the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. I adore travelling, history, art, languages (I speak English, German and Italian), getting to know people from different countries, photography and reading.
